    Great value for a basic robovac

    I've had an eye on this robot since it was released because I love that it has a hidden LiDAR with a thin body. I finally pulled the trigger to upgrade my Eufy 11s Max - the Trouver M1 has the exact same body/shape but it adds navigation and programming. Fantastic value since it only cost slightly more than the Eufy. For reference, I already have another Dreame robot that I love that has perfect navigation and mops beautifully, but it won't fit under my bed and some other spaces, thus the need for a secondary robot with specific measurements. The Trouver M1 solves this problem, and I don't need to babysit it like the gyroscopic 11S - I have it set on the schedule and it runs perfectly. The navigation is not quite as good as the more advanced robots with RGB camera and AI on top of the lidar but much better than I expected. It only gets stuck in a couple of low places (radiators, argh) but that was easily solved with a no-go zone - it navigates just fine under a low dark bed with numerous legs. On top of great navigation, I'm really impressed by how well this little thing actually vacuums - the amount of dirt it picks up in one low-traffic no-shoes room is absolutely terrifying. The tiny dustbin is my only pet peeve - there was no reason to stick a water tank in there since the wiping cloth function is basically useless. Other notable upgrades from the 11S (which I liked, it served its purpose, so it makes a good comparison being in the same price range) are better threshold crossing (can do 22 mm quite easily), longer battery life, and faster recharge.

    Other reviewers have mentioned the lack of accessories on the website, but they are now available on Ali Express, which means they will come to Amazon soon too (you can use aftermarket parts too as long as they fit, Dreame bots are not finicky). Since the filter is washable and the brushes don't show any signs of wear after nearly 2 months, I don't think that I will need a lot accessories in the long run.

However, it lacks compatibility with any smart home devices, potentially limiting its integration into smart home setups. Also, the dirt tray is small and needs to be emptied manually frequently.
