The Dreame X30 is a really neat robotic vacuum cleaner. I have used this for a few weeks now. I will have to say I am impressed with the technology of this unit vs an older unit I have (another brand) that is like 10 years old that I rarely used b/c it had issues mapping and the suction was nowhere near as good. This thing has good suction. Yeah it may miss a small very small item here and there but overall it's not missing much. In fact it probably picks up more than I do with my Miele b/c it is getting under things my vacuum and I don't. Is it perfect- no but is it pretty doggone close. With all do respect when it comes to cleaning the floors with the pads- I don't think anything beats a good ole human hand scrubbing but I didn't buy it to be perfect. I bought it b/c it can do it more often than I can and it still looks good enough where it appears pretty dang close to what I would do. I have hardwood floors throughout my house and a few rugs that are small. I like the fact that the unit has good suction, it takes all the dust and debris and deposits it after each use in the base so I don't have to and puts it in a bag inside the machine for later extraction. It also cleans the pads, you can hear the water boiling (pretty cool) Also it does a good job of mapping and hitting all areas (whereas my old unit didn't always). My old unit didn't mop just vacuum. So as far as the mopping goes, pretty simple it spins around as it moves catches the dirt on the surface with the pad. Technology is to hit heavy dirt areas over if needed. My floors are generally pretty clean but under my beds is generally dusty. It cleaned it totally. I was again impressed. I didn't see it doing a lot of repeat areas. Did it look clean afterwards? Yes! The vacuum doesn't use as much water so it pulls from the tank multiple times before you have to refill it again. I would give the vacuum and cleaning pad a solid 9.5 out of 10. I am very satisfied. I am a little OCD about cleanliness so that's pretty solid for me. Oh and app is very cool. There is a camera and you can actually watch where it goes and you can even use it to spy on your home when your away if you want. Cool machine-Kudos to Dreame!

Does a great job cleaning up after cat hair and mopping. The only thing I have struggled with is getting it to clean consistently under the platform bed. It will do it just not all the time.
