The dryer attachment is amazing — super focused airflow that dries my hair quickly without it flying everywhere. My hair felt smooth, soft, and not frizzy at all, even without heat styling products.

The comb-style attachments are my favorite — they dry and smooth my hair at the same time, even when it's already dry. My hair ends up looking polished, like I just walked out of a salon, with none of the damage I usually get from flat irons.

I tried the curling attachments just for fun, and while there’s definitely a learning curve, I was able to get soft, natural-looking curls. They didn’t last all day (I probably needed to add hairspray), but for my hair type, that’s still a win. I’ll keep practicing!

The design is sleek, the build feels high-end, and it even comes with a beautiful storage case. My only small complaint is the curling barrels get really hot and are tricky to remove right away — heat-resistant gloves would’ve been a great bonus.

Final thoughts: If you’re not getting the Dyson but want something high quality, this is 100% worth it. It’s elevated my hair routine so much — I genuinely look forward to styling my hair now!

Naturally, my hair is wavyish with some curly parts, and fine. I’ve never been able to get it to hold a curl, and it always falls out.I ordered this primarily to replace my hair dryer (I’m still not sure if this one is really designed to be a dryer, but it does have a dryer attachment). I’m still rocking with a Revlon $14 clearance dryer that I got back in 2019, and just never felt the need to replace it. I figured this may be a more “upscale” dryer, and was just curious how my hair would compare once using it. So, not very high expectations, and I wasn’t really planning on using the other attachments.After using it, I like it waaay more than I thought I would. I started off with using the dryer attachment, and then got it nearly dry. Switched to the round brush (which did absolutely nothing honestly). Decided to try the curl attachments just to see how it would work, and to see how it would turn out. I will say, there is definitely a learning curve to it and I’m sure I’ll get better over time. The left side was a lot easier to curl, and seemed like the hair would cling to it easier.. the right side, was a little bit of a challenge trying to get the hair to cling to the barrel.Why I removed a star- the instructions could be way more informative. They’re too basic and leaves you trying to figure everything out pretty much. The product seems really well thought out, and high quality, but seems like not enough thought went into the instructions. As a customer learning the product, there’s still questions I have that could likely be addressed on instructions (for example, can I do touch up curls later on in the day without my hair still being a little damp? Dumb and simple questions like that). I also removed a star due to there not being heat resistant gloves or a similar product included. You have to switch various attachments in between steps, and the attachments are super hot. For example, there’s one curl attachment for each side of your head; kinda doesn’t feel great trying to twist off that attachment to change it out when it’s as hot as it is (I had to use a towel).I think this is probably a good option if you aren’t getting the name brand Dyson. It’s gorgeous and feels high quality. The packaging is really nice as well.See pics- one side of my head is done, the other was only dried. Looked super pretty! But again, def a learning curve, because I suspect after finishing the curls that I should have used hairspray of some sort so that they didn’t fall out. The pic in the orange shirt was taken about 50 minutes after I finished both sides; curls completely fell out. So, maybe an additional product is needed (and I’ll keep experimenting and practicing!), or it really could just be my hair type. Or maybe I need to keep the barrel on longer. Or… maybe it’s a combo of all that is needed.

Overall, this is a really lovely set. The hairdryer is really amazing because you can literally aim it exactly where you need to dry. Unlike a regular hairdryer that your hair is kind of blowing all over the place. This is really much more directed. I also like the comb brush heads that kind of move because they really dry your hair and they really smooth your hair as well. Even if your hair is 100% dry it still smoothes and straightens it and just makes it look lovely without all that true heat damage.The brush I’ve never been a big fan of that that’s just me and how I style and the frizzer head I tried it out, but to be honest I’d rather just use the brush to defrizz then that little freezie thing but that’s just me.The thing I really do not like though are the two curling heads. And I say this because my hair is long - like just at my bust line and for some reason, no matter how small a little group of hair I chose it would not wrap around the entire amount of hair. There were always strays or chunks that would not get sucked around that. And also with that being said, it curled my hair for the time being, but when I ran my hand through it., it was all tangled because of the way it curls itself around the head. So I will never be using those curling heads ever again. I think they are better suited for someone that has shorter hair, but my hair just tangled. But I am no expert, so maybe someone else can better work it than I can. It definitely did not work for me.Regardless I love love love the hairdryer, and the two comb heads and for me that is well worth it. Also the curling heads stay very hot so you can’t really get them off the machine until they cool down and the machine is quite long so you’ll have to leave this ginormous thing on your countertop with some kind of silicone safety mat so that nothing gets hurt because it’s huge and the curling head stays hot. Everything else I could easily pop off and put down right after use.Also just keep in mind that you will not be able to use a standard hairdryer holder or hair styling holder just because of the size of this thing. But it comes in its own case.
