I’ll start off saying i haven’t used a robot vacuum before so i have no comparison, but i do have a-lot of positives about this one!

Try not to judge the carpet too much it was stained and ruined when we moved in unfortunately, that aside our whole place is mostly carpet and rugs and this thing rocks on them!!

We have around 600sq ft of low pile carpet and one pass on standard suction uses 13% battery, pretty great! The mapping is extremely easy and it does a surprisingly good job of sensing everything in our apartment aside from the small coffee table we have with thin legs that lay across the floor, it doesn't see those but sees everything else!

On that note it climbs! It goes right over the 1/2” tall legs right over carpet/hard flooring seperation, right over cords and tall rugs its astonishing how good it just 4x4’s over everything.

It is a great vacuum as well not just a great navigating robot, on standard suction it leaves brush roll lines and no dirt behind everywhere it travels it is equally as good as my orek xl2 at getting the dirt out of the floor,

100% honest, its awesome, i enjoy watching it, my cat enjoys watching it, it’s very easy to setup and use, it gets up tons of dirt and hair, the app is easy to understand and gives all the info you could want, i recommend, as someone who has never used one im blown away!

If anything changes, anything breaks, or i need to contact customer service i will update my review!

The dreame D9 is fantastic. Its suction power is slightly greater than my D10 plus. I took the time to really try and differentiate the two. What makes the one model better than the other.

Overall, I felt both vacuums performed the same. The D9 supposedly has a little less running time but that was not evident in my trials. Both vacuums kept roughly a 280 minute charge.
I found this vacuum was easier to connect to the app when comparing it to my experience with the D10.

The suction might be greater with the D9 but it’s not obvious enough to mention.

This is a fantastic vacuum but at the end of the day it does not rank number one. The D10 ranks better than this model because of the self emptying feature. But you might feel differently.

I prefer the self emptying model and highly recommend that over this model if you have the extra money to invest. By stating that I also mean the extra to invest in the dust bags that need replacing roughly 5 times a year.

If you’re not interested in the extra self emptying feature this is perfect. It’s not silent but it’s quiet. It is easy enough to empty but can become frustrating because you need to remember to constantly empty the small chamber! Noting it is not a large chamber like a standard model vacuum.

Worthy of 5 stars. Easy set up.

This is my first robot vacuum, I have wanted one for a while but could never justify it, but my disabilities make it hard to vacuum my terrible carpet (seriously, I hate carpet so much, cursed apartment living) as often as I need to as a person with two cats I happen to be allergic to. It is really good for surface cleaning, I waited a week between vacuuming and letting the robot do its thing, and I made a mess, I spilled some potting soil from my succulents, so packing bits from a box, art project remnants, and of course plenty of cat hair. Its first pass I realized I didn't have it on the strong suction and was pretty unimpressed, but I let it go again with something better for carpet and it cleaned the carpet. It is not getting deep though, everything that is on the surface got sucked up, but the grime pushed into the depths of the carpets you need a heavier duty vacuum for that. But having something that sweeps up the gunge once a day and having to rely on my big beast of a vacuum for a deep clean like once a month is so much easier to deal with.

The battery on this little beast isn't the strongest, my apartment isn't really large and I don't let it go into the bedroom or bathroom and it still used up over half of the battery. Also it is loud, my in laws have a different robot vacuum and I have been around others in the wild and they are fairly quiet, but this little guy lets me know it is doing its thing and it takes it a few so I have to deal with the noise. It is not vacuum cleaner loud by any means, but it does have a fairly noticable sound.

I've always dreamed of having a robot vacuum, but I kept putting it off between my wallet, crying at the price, and my home resembling a tornado disaster zone. Enter the Dreame D9 Max Gen 2 Robot Vacuum and Mop, my fairy godmother disguised as a gadget. When it arrived, I was so excited I nearly tripped over my clutter in a mad dash to open the box. I kept thinking setting it up would be as complicated as launching a rocket, but it was easier than pie—assuming someone didn't leave crumbs all over the kitchen.

Now, let's address the elephant in the room: my house is split-level, and I was convinced the vacuum would take a plunge off the stairs like a dramatic movie scene. Spoiler alert: it didn't! The little guy glided around the house like it was auditioning for "Dancing with the Stars," expertly maneuvering around everything in its path. The app with it even shows a map of where it's cleaned! I half-expect it to have GPS coordinates for where I misplaced my left shoe.

Here's the kicker: it vacuumed so well that my husband might as well pack up his vacuum and take it to the yard sale. Oh, and I tried out the mopping feature yesterday. Let's be real, it's not a deep scrub, more like a "wet wipe" level clean, but hey, it's fabulous! I've decided to use this robotic miracle every other day. Who knew I could finally have clean floors without having to clean them? I might just run off with my robot vacuum at this rate—sorry, hubby!
