FAQ
Installation and Safety
Can I install this gas cooktop myself?
No. According to the Manual and safety standards, this gas cooktop must be installed and grounded by a certified professional installer to ensure compliance with local gas and electrical codes. Self-installation may cause gas leaks, fires, carbon monoxide poisoning, or electric shock hazards, and will void the warranty.
What type of power supply does the cooktop require?
This cooktop must be connected to a dedicated, grounded 120V, 60HZ, 20A AC circuit equipped with a time-delay fuse or circuit breaker. Do not use adapters or extension cords, or connect other appliances to the same circuit. If you are unsure whether your home’s electrical circuit meets the requirements, contact a professional service technician for inspection.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Please take the following steps immediately:
1. Do not light matches, use electrical appliances, switch lights on or off, or use phones.
2. Turn off the gas valve at the cooktop.
3. Open the windows for ventilation and evacuate all personnel.
4. Immediately call your gas company or the fire department from a safe location, such as a neighbor’s house, or use a cell phone.
5. Do not re-enter the house until it has been confirmed safe by professionals.

Use and Operation
How do I light a gas burner?
1. Press the control knob corresponding to the burner.
2. Turn it counterclockwise to the "LITE" (ignition) position and you will hear an ignition sound.
3. Once the burner ignites, release the knob and turn it to the desired heat setting. If the burner fails to ignite within 5 seconds, turn the knob back to "OFF". Wait one minute for the gas to dissipate before retrying.

What type of cookware is most suitable?
Use flat-bottomed, straight-sided cookware with lids and balanced bases. The cookware diameter should match the burner grate, and the flame should not extend beyond the pot's base (see the Manual for details). Avoid using cookware with a base diameter exceeding 10 inches on the front left or front right burners.
Can I use a wok?
Yes. This cooktop is designed to accommodate woks. We recommend using the matching wok ring accessory to provide stable support and collect any spills.
Why is the flame blue? What does a yellow or orange flame signify?
A stable blue flame indicates complete and efficient combustion. A yellow, orange, or flickering flame typically indicates incomplete combustion, which can generate excessive carbon monoxide. Causes include: mismatched gas types (e.g., using a natural gas burner for LPG), improperly positioned burner components, blocked gas ports, or inadequate ventilation. If an abnormal flame appears, stop using the cooktop immediately and contact a qualified technician for inspection.
How to clean the surface of the stainless steel cooktop?
1. Wait until the surface has cooled completely.
2. Wipe it with a piece of soft, damp cloth.
3. For stubborn stains, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner, rubbing along the grain of the stainless steel surface.
4. Polish the surface with a piece of dry cloth. Never use steel wool, abrasive powders, or chlorine-based cleaners, as they may scratch the surface.

What special precautions should be taken during cleaning?
1. Ensure the cooktop is turned off and completely cooled before cleaning.
> 2. Never pour or spray water or cleaning agents directly into the cooktop's recesses, burner vents, or ignition electrode areas. Doing so may cause electrical faults, corrosion, or carbon monoxide hazards.
3. Before reinstalling the burner caps and burners, ensure they are completely dry, positioned level, and properly aligned. Failure to do so may cause ignition problems or uneven flames.

What should I do if the cooktop won't light or is difficult to ignite?
Please check in the following order:
Ensure the power supply is connected (electronic ignition requires electricity).
Verify that the gas supply valve is open.
Confirm that the burner caps and burners are clean, dry, and properly positioned.
Clean the clogged ignition electrode (gently wipe the metal tip with a piece of dry cloth).
If the problem persists, contact a professional repair technician. Do not attempt to disassemble internal components yourself.
the flame goes out when the knob is released. What should I do?
This is typically caused by the thermocouple (flame sensor probe) not being heated or malfunctioning. Ensure that the flame fully envelops the thermocouple (usually located near the burner head). If the issue persists after cleaning and confirming its position, the thermocouple may need replacement. We recommend contacting after-sales service specialists for inspection.
"clicking" sound (ignition sound) during combustion?
No, this is abnormal. A continuous clicking sound after ignition typically indicates that the ignition electrode is still operating. This may result from an improperly seated burner cap, a damp or dirty electrode, or incorrect positioning of the electrode relative to the burner. If the sound persists after cleaning and proper component installation, contact after-sales service specialists for inspection.
Can this cooktop use LPG (propane)?
Yes, but conversion must be performed by a qualified technician using an official conversion kit. The conversion involves replacing all burner nozzles, adjusting the pressure regulator, and bypassing the valve. Attempting conversion yourself is extremely dangerous, may cause fires or explosions, and will void the warranty. After conversion, be sure to affix the LPG identification label to the appliance.
