Is the 212°F (100°C) hot-water wash safe? Any fire risk?

Yes, it's safe when used as directed. Here's why:

- The heating unit is insulated with silicone rated up to 392°F (200°C), so it never directly touches plastic parts.

- The baseboard is made of heat-resistant plastic.

- Mop pads cool to about 104°F (40°C) before they leave the dock.

What is the dual-solution compartment for?

It holds two separate formulas so you can match the solution to the job. For pet owners, a dedicated pet-formula solution helps neutralize odors—made with a plant-derived (soybean) ingredient.

How does fast charging help?

It minimizes downtime during longer cleaning sessions. The 6,400 mAh ultra-large battery charges from 9% to 80% in just 80 minutes, while an adjustable 80%–100% charging limit helps protect long-term battery health.

Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete Review

Being totally honest, from the start I hated the unit but I couldn’t admit it to my wife (who was totally against the purchase). I sat up the first day trying to figure out why I couldn’t get it to locate the docking station. I moved it all over the house trying to find “adequate spacing “ to ensure it had the room it needed. It mapped fine. It just couldn’t find the docking station and the battery was dying fast from it running all over the house like a lost puppy looking for its mother.
And then it clicked. Like a moron I didn’t have the base turned on. 5 hours it took me to identify the switch is backwards from what I’m normally used to. And as soon as that got adjusted things started to change. Now I LOVE Suck Norris! He’s incredible.
He started the first full day with a CleanGenius cleaning of the entire house. That took 13 hours. It was intense as there was a lot of back and forth cleaning the mop head, “extra cleaning” sections and such. And it made me feel dirty. But not the good kind of duuuurty. An embarrassing kind; the one you don’t tell your friends about. It was so through that when my son got home, half way through the process, he said he could feel the difference. We have all hardwood floors, so it’s a big deal to “feel the difference.”
Today we’re just doing a vacuum cycle since Suck Norris pretty well obliterated my messy floors and clean psyche yesterday. Aside from bunching up a hallway carpet and having to go rescue him, which is no small feat as Suck Norris never needs rescuing. I was rescuing the carpet from Suck.
Now, I’m not saying they’re perfect. I’m still trying to figure out a ton. Why does it avoid low clearance areas randomly? How do I get it to vacuum a hallway with a low-pile rug down the center? (It just avoided the section with the carpet and did the hardwood areas at the ends) Why is the app so clunky? Why do I still have to pull out furniture and clean in areas where he can’t get? Come on Suck! Get it together!!!
You see, all of these are just learning curves Suck and I have to work out. He’s doing an amazing job and I couldn’t be more pleased!
As for the wife? She’s asking questions. She’s defending him when I complained about some cleaning details. She even told him to go to bed last night, as he was working well past his Sleep Mode timer. She’s coming around. I might have, after 28 years, FINALLY…made a good decision!! Yes gentlemen, it CAN happen!!!
There’s nothing better than walking into your freshly vacuumed/mopped home after a long days work. Good old Suck Norris has taken that chore off my hands. Thank you Suck & thank you Dreame.

I’ve been extremely impressed with the Dreame X60 Max Ultra. The vacuuming and mopping performance is excellent, and it does a great job navigating around furniture and obstacles without constantly getting stuck. The floors look noticeably cleaner after it runs, especially when using the deeper cleaning settings.

The docking station is one of my favorite features. Having the robot automatically empty itself, wash the mop pads, and handle most of the maintenance makes keeping the house clean incredibly convenient. The mapping is accurate, the app gives you plenty of control over how each room is cleaned, and I like being able to customize suction, mopping, and cleaning routines.

Overall, it has significantly reduced the amount of time I spend vacuuming and mopping manually. It feels like a genuinely useful home appliance rather than just another gadget. If you’re looking for a premium robot vacuum and mop that can handle most of your everyday floor cleaning automatically, I’ve been very happy with the X60 Max Ultra.
