This wet/dry vacuum is very appropriately named -- Dreame! Because, it is a dream to use, and it cleans like a dream. Where do I start with this device (can you tell that I'm pretty impressed?!?!)
Let's start with the device itself. It's relatively lightweight (and comparable to another brand-name floor cleaner I've used). However, this cleaner uses motorized wheels, so you don't have to fight with it - it glides pretty effortlessly wherever you want it to go. You can change cleaning modes at the push of a button! For wet floors or a big spill (including food waste), you can go with a very powerful suction-only mode (or, if you want to conserve battery life, something less than the Ultra suction mode). And, if you're dealing with hair on the floor, pet or human, not to worry! Dreame has got you covered with a special brush design that is built for the occasion. The brush design accommodates edge-to-edge cleaning, so you'll get that bit of dirt that is nestled right next to the baseboards!
The battery life between charges is advertised at 40 minutes continuous cleaning, but you don't have to keep track of the time. Dreame has a very large display that right in your face that tells you the percentage of battery life you've got left. It also uses separate clean water tank (rear-mounted) and dirty water tank (in the front where you can easily see it), so there is no possibility of putting waste water down on your floors. You can see through both tanks so you always know where you're at (i.e., when it's time to fill up with fresh water or dump the waste water tank).
Did I mention that this Dreame can be used on any flooring surface? Hard wood, linoleum, stone or ceramic tile, and carpeting* (*Suction only mode, please -- it's not a carpet shampoo device -- but it will pick up dirt with the best of them)! The controls are all very straightforward and easy to use!. The LED's mounted across the brush holder provide nice light so you can easily see what you're cleaning and decide if you need another pass or two to get everything up.
So, now you're done, and you've dumped your waste water tank, and you're thinking about that roller brush and all the dirt, hair, and other debris that's like caught in it! What to do? Well, you don't have to worry about it! Once you put Dreame back in it's charging station, you can start it up in self cleaning mode. It takes the clean water that's in the tank (you may need to add to it to get it to the correct level), and heats it to 60 degrees C (140 degrees F) and cleans the roller. And, Dreame doesn't leave you stuck with a clean, but wet, roller, waiting for it to dry! After the 30 minute cleaning cycle, Dreame supplies hot air (60 degrees C) to the roller so that it dries uniformly and is ready to go the next time it's called into action.
What's not to love about this device!!
