Great Vacuum. Confusing app. I'm coming from an Irobot s9+. App was simple. I'm hoping at some point I'll understand the app better. But the vacuum works great! Does a great job not getting stuck.

I am so happy I bought this mop/vacuum. I always love the feeling of fresh clean floors, but I never had enough time to clean my floors as often as I would like. Also--I have 4 cats and a senior dog who are always shedding, making a mess when they eat, etc. My new little robot is making a huge difference in helping me keep on top of things. I love that I can program it to spot clean any dirty area at any time--like just have it do a quick vacuum in the kitchen for instance. Or I can just pick up a few things off the floor and then leave it to do a full clean while I go meditate or go for a walk. It's so worth it, and it does a great job.

I've only had two other robot vacuums, so I'm no expert, but I can say that X30 Ultra has required little attention and it does it's job, while the others I had required enough attention that I questioned their value. If a Robot Vacuum is changing the work you are doing from vacuuming to dealing with Robot Vacuum issues, is it really providing a service? The first one was just a vacuum from 2019 or 2020 and it always got lost, stuck, and needed a remap. The 2nd one is a vacuum and mop and came out in 2024 a few months before the X30 Ultra. I only got it because I couldn't;t stand the first one any longer and the X30 Ultra wasn't;t out yet. It was pretty good, but if you missed a room during the initial, you had to remap and set everything back up. It worked ok for a while, but would get stuck and the frequency of issues rose in the couple of months I had it and then it stopped parking far enough in the base station to charge, I could literally tap it and it would start charging, but I got to where I had to do that almost every time it did work. I got lucky and was able to return it and by that time the X30 Ultra came out, so I got it and I have not been sorry.

I spent a lot of time managing the other Robot Vacuums, but when I got the X30 Ultra I didn't have the time and I haven't needed to. It made a map, I set up rooms and jobs and it has worked. I forgot to open the doors for a closet and the laundry room, so I opened those doors and the next time the X30 Ultra worked in those areas it added them and cleaned them, no issues at all.

My biggest complaint is that I feel like I have to deal with the water containers more often, but that may be more of a perception issue. With the other Robot Vacuum that moped and had water containers, I had to baby it so much I may have just been keenly away of the status of the water containers and handled them preemptively, but with the X30 Ultra I pay little attention to it because it rarely needs attention. The other possibility is that I have it set to use Clean Genius and maybe it uses more water. I can't say that it mops better than my previous one as I have had to have it redo some sticky areas, but it does vacuum better than all my other vacuums.

My second complaint is that it doesn't get tight odd corners well. My shower is recessed a few inches rather than being flush with the wall so at each end the wall protrudes and it doesn't;t get those corners well. It would need to turn and back up. It may be because I have it set to bump less and maybe if I turned that off it would do better on those.

The software is great, but there are a few things that could be better.

There should be an option to only vacuum carpets first when vacuuming and mopping in the same job, so for jobs that only vacuum, the robot doesn't vacuum the carpets in all rooms and then go back to rooms that also have floors.

Permanent cleaning zones should be able to be set on the map.

Currently you cannot clean a room and a zone on the same job, but for a single job users should be able to select rooms, permanent cleaning zones, and cleaning zones they create just for that job.

With clean genius users should be able to select vacuum or mop only.

Clean Genius cannot be used with zones, but that should be an option.

It would be awesome if you could use select Clean Genius on a room, zone basis.

It would be good if it could tell the user when the water levels are too low to complete the next job so we can resolve the issue before the next job. I'm guessing that ability would require hardware changes.

The issues I noted above would make Dreame Robot Vacuum's better, but the X30 Ultra is amazing without them and definitely worth the price tag.

My biggest issue is with the company. They released the X40 Ultra not long after the return window on the X30 Ultra closed and they still don;t have spare parts like the side brush and filters and it's past time for me to change them. However, working with their support was easy and with some time and patience on my part, that was resolved by them creating ordered to ship these parts from their supply house that keeps parts for warranty issues. Hopefully, they will get these parts so they can be ordered via their site and Amazon.

Overall I'm extremely happy with the Dreame X30 Ultra Robot Vacuum.

We bought the top of the line DreameBot. So far we love it. At the time we purchased it, they did not offer an extended warranty. Now they do! For $1800.00 I want to now purchase the plan but am not sure how to do it at this point. Will call customer service tomorrow about that. So far, it’s a great investment! It mops, vacumns, cleans its own little pads, is programmable to your specific floor plan too. Couldn’t be happier!

I've had this robot for a few days and I've extensively tested it around my house with as many different scenarios as I could think of, and this robot came through every scenario with flying colors.

The best feature without a doubt is the extended-mop functionality, which extends the mop outwards to reach edges or underneath cabinets. When comparing against other robots (I tested this against the Narwal Freo X Ultra), no other robot ever got all the way up to the base boards of a wall or all the way underneath Kitchen cabinets, but the X30 ultra got all the way every time.

The noise level of this robot while mopping and vacuuming (in quiet mode) are also impressive. Especially during mopping, you can hardly hear it at all. Obviously with vacuuming since there's some suction it's a little louder than mopping but still very quiet compared to other robots. The noise level while emptying the garbage disposal on the robot is also quieter than what you would get from a Roomba, which I also like since the Roomba sounds like a jet engine when emptying.

My other favorite feature is the detachable mop pads when vacuuming. For other robots, they will simply lift the mop pads and keep them on the robot when vacuuming. With the X30 Ultra, there's an option where for vacuuming tasks/sections, it will actually leave the mop pads at the base, go vacuum, then come back and pick them up and perform the mopping tasks (if there are any). I love this as it ensures your mop pads don't get dragged over carpet or pick up any dust/debris/hair when they don't have to!

Lastly, I have to give praise to their customer service. They have been tremendous and have answered all of my questions and helped navigate a very tricky situation and bent over backwards to help resolve it.
