I don't have any other model or brand to compare this robotic vac/mop to, other than a couple of older basic robotic vacs that did a sufficient job with dirt. But compared to hand mopping with a spin mop and/or microfiber pad mop, this Dreame is incredible, especially if you have pets like us (2 cats, 1 dog). I've never seen the hardwood and tile look and literally shine as it did after the L20 Ultra's first use. The floors looked like they were absolutely brand new, even 'polished'. Mapping takes less than 10 minutes because it uses its camera. I chose to remove most chairs and cat trees although other users say it's not necessary at all, because it updates maps on every run. It's very quiet, even while drying it's mop pads, so the base station can be placed anywhere.

We haven't tested its obstacle avoidance skills yet, but that will happen with kids, pets, and our own general sloppiness. Many reviewers say that they still prefer the L20 Ultra over Dreame's newer models, and it often beats competitors flagship models in many categories, so I was confident in my choice.

Amazon and Costco are the only Canadian retailers but Amazon has failed to have the L20 in stock for more than 6 months - no explanation from Dreame. It was last available during October's Prime days, but Dreame has recently promoted it at a 58% discount with an additional 10% off first orders - well worth the trip if you're near a border crossing.

I repeatedly contacted customer service but have not resolved my situation. I placed an order for two items but only received one item.

So when the product works, it works great. However, there is a problem support the worse the world. You talk to somebody and then the email you and their emails totally worthless and you call again and they say they’re gonna email you and again emails totally worthless. please don’t make the mistake. I did please never buy this company. I unfortunately bought three of them for various houses that I own and I regret all my purchases. Take my strong advice from somebody else.
